Andrew Myers is an Oregon artist whose studio practice is drawing focused with elements of installation and sculpture. His large-scale work interacts with the exhibition space and engages the viewer by becoming part of the environment. The Arts Center ArtShop has a small collection of unique works on display in the artist’s portfolio.
Integral to Myers' work is the hand-made mark and the physical evidence and visual history of the artist's hand. The concepts of Place and Home, isolation, conservation and preservation are themes that permeate his work.
He currently teaches at Oregon State University.
